PGIMER Admission Requirements for MD / MS Courses :

To be eligible for PGI Chandigarh admission to MD / MS course, a candidate must possess the following qualifications ;

a) MBBS passed or its equivalent qualification from a University / Institute recognized by Medical Council of India with not more than one attempt made during MBBS course. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Tribes with up to two attempts during MBBS career will be eligible.

b) Must have either completed or due to complete one year internship (rotatory housemanship) training by 30th June / 31st December for July and January session respectively.

c) Must be registered with Central / State Medical Registration Council.



PGIMER 2011 Admission Requirements for DM / MCh Courses :

A. Age limit as on 1st July / 1st January for session starting from July and January respectively.

* For Open Category : 35 years
* For SC / ST, Ex-Serviceman and Commissioned Officer including ECO, SSCO who have rendered or released on satisfactory assignment (Please attach the proof) : 40 years
* Deputed / Sponsored candidates : No age limit

B. PGIMER Entrance Exam Qualification Requirement :

For all PGIMER DM courses except for DM (Clinical Pharmacology, Neuro Radiology, Pediatric Haematology-Oncology, Pediatric Critical Care, Haematopathology, Cardiac Anaesthesia, Pediatric Neurology) course :

a) MD degree in Medicine or Paediatrics or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India, except as otherwise indicated.

b) Must be registered with the Central / State Medical Registration Council.

For DM (Clinical Pharmacology) course : MD degree in Pharmacology or its equivalent qualification in any clinical subject recognised by the Medical Council of India.

For MCh (Plastic Surgery) Courses :

a) MS degree in General Surgery / MS (ENT) / MS (Orthopedics) or its equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India.

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, would be conducting the All-India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental (AIPMT) Entrance Examination. This entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from time to time. AIPMT Exam Pattern – (AIPMT 2011) : Preliminary Examination : The duration of paper would be 3 hours. The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. All India Pre – Medcal / Pre – Dental Entrance Exam – AIPMT Entrance Exam 2011 Eligibility Details (i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL. (ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between * 01.01.82 to 01.01.95 (SC/ST/OBC Category) * 01.01.87 to 01.01.95 (Other Category) (iii) Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K are not eligible, as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. If they claim eligibility they must submit an affidavit, in original, in the Proforma on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper duly sworn before and attested by a Metropolitan Magistrate/First Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that:- Medical Entrance Exam Question Bank CD a) They are not eligible to appear for MBBS/BDS seats in the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K and hence not eligible to seek admission in Medical/ Dental Colleges of Andhra Pradesh/J&K. and b) They are not domiciled in Andhra Pradesh/ J&K. . Note : Applications not accompanied with the required affidavits or accompanied with incomplete, unattested or photocopy of the affidavit shall be summarily rejected without any further reference in the matter. The affidavits submitted by such candidates will be verified and if found to be false, the admission of all such candidates shall be cancelled and criminal proceedings may be initiated against them. For Format of Affidavit please see Appendix IV. (iv) Qualifications and Qualifying examination Codes : CODE : 01 The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education. NOTE : where the course content is not as prescribed for 10 +2 education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to undergo a period of one year pre – professional training before admission to the Medical Colleges. OR CODE : 02 The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Bio-technology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and English. OR CODE : 03 The Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology & English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Pre-professional/Pre-medical examination shall include practical test in these subjects. OR CODE : 04 The first year of the three years' degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English. OR CODE : 05 B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology and further that he/ she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. OR CODE : 06 Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology ; Which shall include practical test in these subjects.) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English. CODE : 07 A candidate who is taking up the qualifying examination prior to the competitive test, or whose result is awaited, may also apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of allotment by personal appearance. Provided that to be eligible for competitive entrance examination, candidate must have passed any of the qualifying examinations as enumerated above. Provided also that to be eligible for competitive entrance examination the candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology /Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination and competitive entrance examination (Physics,Chemistry and Biology) be 40% marks instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for Gen-PH and 40% marks for SCPH/ ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Provided further that the students of Indian Nationality educated abroad seeking admission into medical colleges in India must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English upto the 12th standard level with 50% marks and their equivalency determined as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University. If a candidate does not fall within the qualifications prescribed as per Code number 01-06 he/she should furnish complete details to determine eligibility. (vi) RESERVATION Reservation will be made as per following details in 15% All India quota : (i) 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates, (ii) 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates, (iii) 27% seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Educational Institutions only as per Hon'ble Supreme Court order dated 10.04.2008. Reservation would be applicable to the castes mentioned in the Central list of OBC. Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Categary Column in application form. Candidates from creamy layer and do not come under Central List are advised to mention their category as General. (iii) 27% seats are reserved for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Educational Institutions only as per Hon'ble Supreme Court order dated 10.04.2008, (iv) 3% seats are reserved on horizantal basis for PH candidates. The reservation will be made as per 2200 point reservation roster.The mode of implementation of reservation will be available on DGHS website-www.mohfw.nic.in. Note : (a) The Pre-medical course may be conducted either at a Medical College or at a Science College . (b) After the 10+2 course is introduced the integrated courses be abolished. (c) Marks obtained in Mathematics are not to be considered for admission to M.B.B.S. Course. (d) No State eligibility criteria will be applicable to the students who take admission under 15% All India Quota Scheme.

1. Applications are invited for AFMC Admission 2011 to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from Aug 2011. Total 130 candidates (including a maximum of 25 girls) will be selected.

AFMC 2011 Exam Date : 01 May, 2011

All the 105 boys and 25 girls admitted to Armed Forces Medical College, Pune have compulsory liability to serve as commissioned officers in the Armed Forces Medical Services on graduation.

The type of commission will depend upon the vacancies available and merit-cum-option at the final MBBS Examination.

The liability of the Short Service Commission (SSC) officers passing out of AFMC to serve the Armed Forces Medical Services would be seven (7) years. All candidates admitted to the college are required to execute a bond to this effect for an amount of Rupee 15 lacs (Rupees Fifteen lacs) at the time of joining the college. Students removed from service liability due to any reason will have to pay the bond money as per conditions laid down by Govt of India.

2. Ten seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates who also have similar service liability and have to fulfil the requirements of medical fitness, age, educational qualification and qualifying the entrance examination as per details given in the prospectus.

3. AFMC 2011 SPECIAL CONCESSIONS : The Govt will provide free accommodation and entitled rations, subsidised messing, AC 3 Tier free railway warrant from college to home and back during vacations, a book subsidy of Rupee 12,000/- during entire training period, uniform allowance of Rupee 6000/- per student during first year and Rupee 1250/- per year as maintenance allowance in subsequent years and any other misc allowances as applicable.

4. All candidates should be medically fit as per laid down standards for the Armed Forces.

5. Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during the course is not permitted. AFMC college is fully and compulsorily residential both for boys and girls.

AFMC 2011 Scheme of Examination :

The competitive written examination will be of 2 hours duration and will have one paper comprising of 200 objective type questions in the following subjects.

SSU UGET 2011 UG Medical ( MBBS ) Application Procedure
A candidate desirous of appearing in the JSSU UGET 2011 Entrance Test for JSSU UGET 2011 UG Medical ( MBBS ) Admission is required to complete the prescribed JSSU UGET Application Form 2011 and submit to the JSS University in the following ways :



A candidate is required to download the prescribed JSSU UGET MBBS 2011 Application Form from the JSS University website www.jssuni.edu.in and submit the completed JSSU UGET Exam 2011 Form to the JSS University on or before the scheduled date 29th April, 2011 at 5.00 p.m. The downloaded and printed JSSU UGET 2011 application form should be sent along with a processing fee of  2,000/- only by way of DD favouring "JSS University Fee Account, Mysore", payable at Mysore along with the documents listed below. *
Candidates may also obtain the JSS University UGET 2011 Application Form along with the JSSU UGET Brochure by sending a application fee of 200/- only by way of DD favouring "JSS University Fee Account, Mysore", payable at Mysore. The duly filled JSSU UGET Exam 2011 application form should be sent to the University along with documents listed below enclosing DD for 2,000/- favouring "JSS University Fee Account, Mysore", payable at Mysore.

Notes :
Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. PUC – II / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered to appear for JSSU UGET 2011, provided they have appeared for the said examination. However it is responsibility of the applicant to ensure the HSC / 10+2 / PUC marks card copy is sent to the JSS University specifying the TAT No. ( Test Admission Ticket Number ) before 10 June, 2011, failing which, the tie in the rank will be declared on the basis of the JSS University rules, which shall be binding the candidate.
JSS University UGET 2011 Issue of TAT ( Test Admission Ticket ) :
Candidates appearing for JSSU UGET 2011 will be issued a Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for identification. Candidates are required to bring the Test Admission Ticket in original ( Candidate Copy ).
JSSU UGET Exam 2011 Test Admission Ticket gives the details of test centre assigned to the candidate. The candidates are assigned a test centre decided by the JSS University authority during the application processing, itself and no requests for change in JSSU UG Entrance Test Centre would be considered.
JSSU MBBS 2011 TAT Cards will be dispatched to the candidates from the JSS University from 11th May, 2011. The JSSU MBBS 2011 TAT Card will indicate the Roll Number & JSSU UG Examination Centre allotted to the candidate with its address.
The candidate must not mutilate this TAT Card or Change any entry, made therein after the University authorities have authenticated it.
JSS University is not responsible for any loss in transit or for incorrect address given by the candidate in the JSSU UG Entrance Application Form 2011.
Candidates are advised to preserve their TAT in good condition till JSSU MBBS admission in the College is over.
Please recheck the JSS University website http://www.jssuni.edu.in for any changes / updates before leaving your hometown for the JSSU UGET MBBS 2011.
In case a candidate does not get his / her TAT Card ( JSSU UGET 2011 Hall Ticket ) by 18th May, 2011 by post / courier, he / she should contact University office immediately. Arrangement will be made for the issue of duplicate TAT Cards at the 'Help Desk' established on the previous day of the examination at respective examination centers. In such a situation, candidate should bring two photographs which are identical to the photo affixed to application form, along with his / her proof of submission / posting of JSSU UGET 2011 application form or school / college identity card. In case no proof is submitted duplicate JSSU UGET 2011 TAT Card will not be issued.

DA-IICT, a UGC recognised statutory university, has announced Admission to the eleventh Batch ( DAIICT BTech Admission 2011 Batch ) of its B Tech (ICT) program. DA IICT BTech Admission procedure for Indian Citizens is described hereunder.

Admission to the 2011 Batch of B.Tech. (ICT) program will be based on the All India Rank of AIEEE 2011 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2011), which is being conducted by CBSE on 01st May 2011.

DA IICT 2011 Eligibility :

The minimum academic qualification for admission in the program is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination (mentioned below) with 50% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

The candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer Science / Biology.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2011 are also eligible to apply for consideration of provisional admission. All candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 examination or equivalent) to the Institute latest by 30 October 2011, failing which such provisional admission will stand cancelled.

If a candidate is found ineligible at a later date, even after admission to DA IICT, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the candidates. The decision of the concerned authorities of DA IICT Exam 2011 regarding eligibility of any candidate shall be final.

Candidates must produce this certificate in original as proof of their age at the time of counselling.

Number of DA IICT BTech Seats :

The intake will be 240. Out of these, fifty percent seats will be filled, on the basis of the All India Rank of AIEEE 2011, from the candidates passing their qualifying examination (ie 12th standard or equivalent) from the schools located outside the Gujarat State (where seats reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories are 15% and 7.5%, respectively), while the remaining fifty percent seats will be filled, on the basis of the All India Rank of AIEEE 2011, from the candidates passing their qualifying examination (ie 12th standard or equivalent) from the schools located in the Gujarat State (where seats reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories are 7.5% and 15%, respectively).

Candidates belonging to these categories will be admitted on relaxed criteria as compared to the general category candidates. In case some of the reserved seats are not filled, the unfilled seats will be transferred to the general category.

In addition to these 240 seats, 24 seats will be offered to Non-Resident Indians / Foreign Nationals through DAFS. The Institute may change the number of seats without any notice.

5 Year LL.B./B.L. Course : The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. / B.L. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.

Note : There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the Candidates belonging to SC / ST.

* A candidate appearing for the above qualifying examinations may also take the Law Common Entrance Test in anticipation of results. In case of such students who appear for the entrance test, pending the result of the qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing eligible marks in the said qualifying examinations.

* The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.
* Age on LAWCET Admission 2011 : (a) Subject to the conditions stipulated by the Govt. of A.P., on this behalf, the maximum age limit for a candidate seeking admission into the 3 year and 5 year LL.B / B.L Course shall be Thirty Years (relaxable by five years in case of SCs/STs) and twenty years (relaxable by two years in case of SCs/STs) respectively as on 31st December of the year of seeking admission.

Note 1 : LAWCET Exam 2011 Age limits mentioned above are under challenge in Hon'ble High court of A.P and Supreme Court in W.P.No.6691/09, 7610/09 and transfer petition (civil) nos 857-866 of 2009 in Supreme Court. Interim directions are awarded by the court relaxing the age limits. Admissions into the law courses shall be subject to the outcome of the pending cases.

Note 2 : Mere appearance in LAWCET will not give any right of admission. The candidate should satisfy all the eligibility criteria and should satisfy rules governing admission as are applicable.

Note 3 : LAWCET Admission Regulations of Osmania University will be followed in respect of Age criteria for Admission into 3yrs / 5yrs L.L.B / B.L Law Courses in the Constituent Law Colleges of Osmania University.

An objective type (MCQ) Combined Pre-Medical Entrance Test HP CPMET 2011 for admission to MBBS/BDS 1st year course in various Govt. Medical and Dental Colleges including Private Un-aided Dental Colleges (State/Management Quota) in Himachal Pradesh for the academic session 2011-12 will be held on May 27, 2011 (Friday) at Shimla, Mandi, Dharamshala and Hamirpur Examination Centres for which the applications on the prescribed form from the eligible candidates are invited as available in the HP CPMT 2011 Prospectus.

HP CPMT 2011 Eligibility Conditions :

1. For State Quota Seats in Govt.Medical / Dental Colleges and Private un-aided Dental Colleges :

(i) Children of Bonafide Himachali/Himachal Govt. Employees and Employees of Autonomous Bodies wholly or partially financed by the Himachal Pradesh Govt. and who have passed atleast two examinations out of four i.e. Middle, Matric, +1 & +2 or its equivalent from the recognized School(s)/College(s) situated in the State of Himachal Pradesh only are eligible to apply for this test.


However, Children of Defence Personnel / Ex-Servicemen/Employees of Central Govt. including U.T./Other State Govts. / Employees of Autonomous Organisations / Semi-Govt. Bodies of Central Govt. and other State Govts. or Children of Himachal Govt. Employees/Employees of wholly owned H.P. Govt. Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies who are Bonafide Himachali and living outside the State of H.P. on account of their service are exempted from the condition of passing two examinations from the School(s) situated in the State of H.P. are also eligible for this test.

(ii) The Bonafide Himachali students who are admitted to Navodaya School(s) situated in Himachal, but passed Matric or +2 examination under the exchange programme from other Navodaya School(s) in the country are also eligible to apply for this HP CPMET Entrance Test 2011.

2. For Management Quota Seats (only in Private Un-aided Dental Colleges) : Under this quota, there will be no domicile and schooling conditions, both Himachali and non-Himachali interested candidates can compete in the entrance test subject to fulfillment of minimum educational qualification and age as given hereunder.

3. For Children of J&K Migrants : Who possess the minimum qualifying educational qualification and age as given can compete in this test against the seats reserved for them.

4. For Children of Tibetan Refugees : Who possess the minimum qualifying educational qualification and age as given and duly sponsored by the Tibetan Govt. in Exile can compete in this test against the seats reserved for them.

5. For NRI Candidates : Who are residing abroad and have passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) from abroad and possess the minimum educational qualification and age as given can apply on the prescribed application form available in the prospectus direct to the Principal(s) of the concerned Medical / Dental College(s). They are not required to take the HP CPMT Entrance Test 2011.

HP CPMT 2011 Age & Educational Qualification :

(i) Age Limit for HP CPMET Entrance Exam 2011 : The candidate should have already completed or should complete the age of 17 years and must not have completed 25 years of age on 31st December, 2011.

(ii) Educational Qualification for HP CPMT Medical 2011 Exams :

The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examinations of a University / Board by law in India with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects which shall include a practical test with 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC) provided that the candidate has qualified the subject of English as an elective subject in the above examination.

Note : The candidates who have appeared in 10+2 or its equivalent examination and whose results have not been declared can also apply for this test, but the admission will be subject to passing of the said examination with the required percentage at the time of Ist round of HP CPMT 2011 counseling.

1. The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test ( NET ) on 26th June, 2011 ( Sunday ) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF ) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. The University Grants Commission will conduct NET Exam in 78 ( seventy eight including 'Bodo' as a new subject ) subjects ( listed under item no. 9 ) at 74 ( Seventy four ) selected UGC NET Exam 2011 Centres ( listed under Item no. 10 ) spread across the country.

UGC NET June Exam Result 2011 held on 27th December, 2010 and the one to be held on 26th June, 2011 will be made available on the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in and shall also be published in the Employment News as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their UGC NET Exam June Result 2011.

The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for lectureship. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.

The award of JRF will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for lectureship will not be considered for award of JRF.

Candidates appearing in UGC NET should clearly specify in the prescribed Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & eligibility for Lectureship ( or ) only for eligibility for Lectureship. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU. This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education ( 10+2+3 System ) after completing higher secondary schooling ( Class 12 or Equivalent ).

4. Candidates must have one of following qualifications :

1. Bachelor of Computer Applications ( BCA ). ( or )
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics. ( or )
3. B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level.

5. Candidates of B.Sc. Honours must have minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average in their Honours subject. Candidates of BCA and other graduate courses must have minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared ( excluding optional subjects ).

6. Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor's Program in 2011 can also apply, provided they have obtained 60% marks or equivalent ( 45% marks in case 0f SC / ST candidates ) based on latest available grades / marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the program provisionally. At the time of the counseling they must bring the following :

1. A certificate in original from the Principal of their Institute stating that by 30 June 2011, they will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining their Bachelor's degree.
2. A certificate in original from the Principal certifying that they have obtained 60% marks or equivalent ( 45% marks in case of SC / ST candidates ) based on latest available grades / marks. Marks to be calculated as per item (5) above.

Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification with requisite marks as per item (5) above. They must submit proof of passing their final examinations with requisite marks by 31st October, 2011. Non – fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

7. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance – learning programs are eligible only if :

1. They acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment.
2. The programs are recognized by the DEC – IGNOU.
3. They have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum 60% marks in average ( 45% for SC / ST ) calculated as per item (5) above. They must enclose photocopies of (i) work experience certificate (ii) pass certificate and mark sheets of qualifying examination with their application.

Notes :

1. Candidates with foreign diplomas should see the EdCIL website for equivalence ( http://www.edcil.co.in ), and if required should obtain an equivalence certificate from the evaluation division of the AIU ( website http://www.aiuweb.org ).
2. In case any Board / University awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the Board / University. In case a University does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.

RMCAAT 2011 Eligibility :

Various eligibility criteria for admission to MCA course shall be as under:

RMCAAT MCA Exam 2011 Educational Qualification :

The candidates must possess (10+2) at school level with mathematics and Graduation (3 years duration) in any subject from any recognized University or Graduation (10+2+3 years duration) in any subject with mathematics as one subject from any recognized University, with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Non creamy layer OBC / SBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination.

Candidates with BCA, BSc (IT) & BSc (Comp. Science) degrees are eligible for the requirements of mathematics. However, the candidate appearing for the Graduation qualifying examination (Enclosed certificate-6) will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but their admission will be provisional, subject to furnishing the degree of qualifying examination with the prescribed eligibility by 31st July, 2011.

RMCAAT 2011 Domicile Criteria :

The RMCAAT MCA Entrance Test 2011 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidate will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.

Domicile Category – A

The candidate himself / herself or any of his / her natural parents (father / mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. OR

Domicile Category – B

Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up to and including the year in which he / she has passed the qualifying examination. OR

Domicile Category – C

Candidate is a son / daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following :

1. Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan).

Candidate is a son / daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence / Central Government services/Public Sector undertakings / National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry into service.

Note :

1. Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthan origin for eligibility of their children in these categories. The State of origin and home town as entered in the discharge certificate shall only be accepted as proof in respect of the above.

A copy of discharge certificate and PPO must necessarily be enclosed to seek reservation / relaxation in this category. The discharge certificate and PPO must be produced in original at the time of RMCAAT Counseling.

For the wards of defence personnel from other State but serving in the State of Rajasthan, the domicile condition is waved off to enable them to appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota. However, they would not be eligible for Ex-S/DK category.

2. Sons / daughters of the displaced persons from Jammu & Kashmir (KM) shall be eligible for admission through RMCAAT Entranc Exam 2011. The candidate has to submit a certificate from the competent authority as a proof of being son/daughter of a displaced person from Jammu & Kashmir.

1. The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test ( NET ) on 26th June, 2011 ( Sunday ) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF ) and Eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. The University Grants Commission will conduct NET Exam in 78 ( seventy eight including 'Bodo' as a new subject ) subjects ( listed under item no. 9 ) at 74 ( Seventy four ) selected UGC NET Exam 2011 Centres ( listed under Item no. 10 ) spread across the country.

UGC NET June Exam Result 2011 held on 27th December, 2010 and the one to be held on 26th June, 2011 will be made available on the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in and shall also be published in the Employment News as and when it is declared. The candidates will not be individually intimated about their UGC NET Exam June Result 2011.

The candidates who qualify for the award of Junior Research Fellowship are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for lectureship. The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work in accordance with the procedure prescribed by them.

The award of JRF will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for lectureship will not be considered for award of JRF.

Candidates appearing in UGC NET should clearly specify in the prescribed Application Form whether they are applying for both JRF & eligibility for Lectureship ( or ) only for eligibility for Lectureship. Candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Lectureship will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lecturers of the concerned universities / colleges / state governments, as the case may be.

Scheduled Caste ( SC ) / Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) / Visually Handicapped ( VH ) / Physically Handicapped ( PH ) / Other Backward Classes ( OBC ) ( Non Creamy Layer ), as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes ( NCBC ), Government of India website : www.ncbc.nic.in, candidates will be given such special concessions as may be decided by the Commission.

2. UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship June 2011 :

Candidates qualifying for the award of UGC Junior Research Fellowship NET will be eligible to receive fellowship of UGC under various schemes, subject to finding their placement in universities / IITs / Institutions. The validity period of the offer is two years w.e.f. the date of issue of JRF Award Letter. However, in case the candidates who already have joined M.Phil / Ph.D., the date of commencement of fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of UGC NET Exam Result or UGC NET Exam Date of their joining, whichever is later.

Dates for the BIT Mesra MCA Online Entrance Test 2011 : 6th & 7th June, 2011

BIT Mesra 2011 Eligibility :

1. Candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in Class 10 ( excluding optional subjects ) with minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average. Marks in Class 10 to be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared ( excluding optional subjects ).

2. Candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in Class 12 ( excluding optional subjects ) with minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average. Marks in Class 12 will be computed as average of best 5 subjects in which candidate has appeared, including English, Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

3. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India / AIU. This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education ( 10+2+3 System ) after completing higher secondary schooling ( Class 12 or Equivalent ).

4. Candidates must have one of following qualifications :

1. Bachelor of Computer Applications ( BCA ). ( or )
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics. ( or )
3. B.Sc. with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level.

5. Candidates of B.Sc. Honours must have minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average in their Honours subject. Candidates of BCA and other graduate courses must have minimum 60% ( 45% for SC / ST ) marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared ( excluding optional subjects ).

6. Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor's Program in 2011 can also apply, provided they have obtained 60% marks or equivalent ( 45% marks in case 0f SC / ST candidates ) based on latest available grades / marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the program provisionally. At the time of the counseling they must bring the following :

1. A certificate in original from the Principal of their Institute stating that by 30 June 2011, they will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining their Bachelor's degree.
2. A certificate in original from the Principal certifying that they have obtained 60% marks or equivalent ( 45% marks in case of SC / ST candidates ) based on latest available grades / marks. Marks to be calculated as per item (5) above.

Their admission will be confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the Bachelor's degree / equivalent qualification with requisite marks as per item (5) above. They must submit proof of passing their final examinations with requisite marks by 31st October, 2011. Non – fulfillment of this condition will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

7. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distance – learning programs are eligible only if :

1. They acquired such qualifications as working professionals / while in employment.
2. The programs are recognized by the DEC – IGNOU.
3. They have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with minimum 60% marks in average ( 45% for SC / ST ) calculated as per item (5) above. They must enclose photocopies of (i) work experience certificate (ii) pass certificate and mark sheets of qualifying examination with their application.

Notes :

1. Candidates with foreign diplomas should see the EdCIL website for equivalence ( http://www.edcil.co.in ), and if required should obtain an equivalence certificate from the evaluation division of the AIU ( website http://www.aiuweb.org ).
2. In case any Board / University awards grades instead of marks, the calculation of equivalent marks would be based on the procedure prescribed by the Board / University. In case a University does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan domicile and from the wards of Kashmiri Migrants for the registration of Rajasthan MCA Admission Test – 2011 for admission to first year of MCA ProgrammeGovernment Aided and private Un-aided institutions of Rajasthan running MCA courses (except BITS pilani, MNIT jaipur and others Deemed, Private Universities) for the session 2011-2012.

The RMCAAT 2011 will be held on June 05th, 2011 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon.

The RMCAAT 2011 Exam Schedule will be :
Candidates should report to the RMCAAT Test Centre 09.30 A.M.
Commencement of the RMCAAT MCA Examination 2011 10.00 A.M.
No Candidate will be permitted after 10.15 A.M.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the RMCAAT Examination Hall before 12.00 Noon

RMCAAT 2011 Eligibility :

A candidate must ensure that he / she is eligible for admission to various Government aided and private unaided institutions of Rajasthan conducting MCA course before filling up the RMCAAT Exam 2011 Application Form.


If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage.

Various eligibility criteria for admission to MCA course shall be as under:

RMCAAT MCA Exam 2011 Educational Qualification :

The candidates must possess (10+2) at school level with mathematics and Graduation (3 years duration) in any subject from any recognized University or Graduation (10+2+3 years duration) in any subject with mathematics as one subject from any recognized University, with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Non creamy layer OBC / SBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination.

Candidates with BCA, BSc (IT) & BSc (Comp. Science) degrees are eligible for the requirements of mathematics. However, the candidate appearing for the Graduation qualifying examination (Enclosed certificate-6) will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but their admission will be provisional, subject to furnishing the degree of qualifying examination with the prescribed eligibility by 31st July, 2011.

RMCAAT 2011 Domicile Criteria :

The RMCAAT MCA Entrance Test 2011 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidate will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.

Domicile Category – A

The candidate himself / herself or any of his / her natural parents (father / mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. OR

Domicile Category – B

Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up to and including the year in which he / she has passed the qualifying examination. OR

Domicile Category – C

Candidate is a son / daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following :

1. Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan).
2. Undertakings / Corporations / Improvement Trusts / Municipal Boards / Panchayat Samities / Cooperative Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.
3. Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan. OR
